Halocene Pittsburgh Concert reviews
Harrah's Outside Theatre / Brett Michaels
The fantastic concert by Halocene was enjoyed, especially the music and songs.
Physically disabled-friendly, Harrah's amphitheater was not. No seating was available for persons with physical disabilities, with no consideration or help given to our 6 clients. Climbing the stairs was difficult for all, and the railing handle was inadequate. It took 2 employees to help several clients down the stairs, one at a time, which held up other attendees. Special seating could not be requested either. When attempting to move everyone to a safer level, the suited employees would not stop long enough for me to ask a question, and rushed on by, acting like I was a leper.
One of the guests was smoking and drunk, subjecting us to a swinging cigarette that just missed several of us while the drunken female danced. Allowing any person to have 6 drinks at a 2-hour event is criminal intent. Selling that many drinks to one person and thinking it's alright is unacceptable. There should be a limit for each person to drink, just like in the bars inside. Negligence could have led to lawsuits if any of those persons had fallen on our clients.
During the party afterward, we sat far off to avoid the drunks and hyper persons, yet several still fell into and on our individuals. Thankfully, none of them were hurt, but it was puzzling why everyone seemed drunk and falling all over the place.
Overall, the concert by Halocene was great, but the location and seating were terrible. In the future, we will return to going to the MGM in Vegas for our concerts, despite the extra travel time.
